OUR MISSION
To support vulnerable populations and promote the green transition through architectural development projects.
We do this by:
- Initiate and realize projects within construction, planning and related disciplines that reduce poverty and vulnerability, support local development and contribute to the green transition.
- Plan and implement courses, seminars, exhibitions, debates and other knowledge sharing and dissemination related to the organization’s purpose and based on experience from our projects.
- Collaborate and network with organizations and institutions that can further the organization’s purpose.
OUR VISION
A world where everyone has access to decent and affordable housing and where the built environment supports human development and promotes a more equal and peaceful world in environmental balance.

We believe that decent living conditions are a fundamental human right that can be promoted by holistic thinking and by integrating technical, social, and aesthetic aspects in construction and planning.
That’s why we make architectural knowledge available to civil society and organizations that normally don’t have access to it. And we take responsibility for ensuring that construction develops in a socially, economically and environmentally sustainable direction.
In this way, we create opportunities for experience and skill development among architects in Denmark, so that solid competencies can be built for the benefit of our partners and for the part of the Danish architectural profession that is engaged in the global workplace.
We consist of a small secretariat, 40 volunteers and are supported by around 600 members from different disciplines. Most are architects, but more and more professions are finding their way to – and are welcome in – the organization. You can join us a member here.
